Nets

When in France, it seems best to do as the French do. So here are the French style nets, plus the French style teckel slumbering on the doorstep. Now I shall continue the theme by going and cracking open another bottle of red wine, kissing the postman when he arrives, and donning my flowered overall and completing an afternoon of heavy manual labour in the nearest field.

  1. The french style nets look rather lovely in your french style house. My english style nets are in an english style drawer where no english eye can be cast upon them.
Do you really get to kiss the postman? Just imagine Ben if I tried that! What larks!

  2. in Normandy, you must 'faire la bise' 3 times on each cheek when you meet, and again when you depart. if you meet a family, this must be done to each of them. Ben is just a litle too English sometimes I think. Is your postman handsome???

About Me

My photo
I've lived with my partner in Normandy, France, for about four years now. There's lots I love about our lives here-including our beautiful surroundings-but I also miss my wonderful children and grandchildren who are back in the UK. I trained as a hypnotherapist originally in the UK and am now registered for this in France, I also like making (and hopefully selling) some jewellery.
